Program Features
The Ivy League Preschool offers a UPK program run by a NYS licensed teacher. We offer an exciting curriculum that is enhanced by a multisensory/cross curriculum approach to learning.
In addition to our Fundations training, our science program is filled with tons of hands-on activities and real life science experiences.
Since we believe in the importance of reading books, we read them aloud to the children throughout the day, not just at circle time. Books are also available for independent perusal.
We use the same math manipulatives that the students use in elementary school for fun and learning. Following the New York State Office of Children and Family Services (OCFS) and New York State Learning Standards, we do not have televisions or screens in the school. We go outdoors twice a day in our playground or out indoor play areas for when the weather is bad. Your child does not have to be completely potty trained.
